Death Does Not Liberate You From Your Imperfections

Contrary to the lies of most religions that tell you that when you die, you go to heaven or hell, this is  a false narrative. Death does NOT Liberate you from your imperfections. While on Earth, you are in a body that is your soul in a slowed down vibratory state. This Soul of yours has come here to enjoy the play of Self-discovery with the intention of expanding its awareness. What you are here, on this level in body, you are after you leave the body. Surprise!!!

I quote the words of Paramahansa Yogananda, who points this realization out so poignantly: "Don't depend on death to liberate you from your imperfections. You are exactly the same after death as you were before. Nothing changes; you only give up the body. If you are a thief or a liar or a cheater before death, you don't become an angel merely by dying. If such were possible, then let us all go and jump in the ocean now and become angels at once! Whatever you have made of yourself thus far, so will you be hereafter. And when you reincarnate, you will bring that same nature with you. To change, you have to make the effort. This world is the place to do it."

There is no heaven or hell. There is only your awareness that you have crafted and that you alone face both in life in body and after life in body. What you are, you take with you in the continuum called soul. The place to maturate is in body, not in heaven or hell. Your works here on Earth don't get you into a place. Your deeds, thoughts, beliefs, lessons and how you learned from them, that is, how you grew your awareness, keeps you in a and defines your state of awareness. That state of awareness is your heaven or hell. That awareness is your state of soul maturation and is why some put age on souls like "old" soul, etc.

Death does not liberate you from your imperfections. If you have murdered others while in body, you will have to come to terms with that shadow side of yourself on the so-called other side. You will have to see and face your awareness of being a murderer. There is no judgement in this, just a facing with what your awareness is and what your intent is moving forward.
