The Spiritual Trap Of Words

From my experience with my spiritual path and clearing my inner clutter for greater spiritual clarity; I have found that one of the great spiritual traps that can clutter spiritual perception are words. Why can words be a spiritual trap? In my view, words can be a spiritual trap because they are only a tiny approximation of what true spiritual understanding is. Words can also be misinterpreted. So, we have to be careful when we throw around words while apprehending the truth of Spirit.

For example, what does it mean to be IN your Light body since your Light body is not emanated by your physical body, your Light body projects the hologram of your physical body. This is a Cosmic conundrum because where is IN our Light body? When talking of spiritual matters, where is this place, within? The meaning of IN takes on different parameters within the spiritual dimension from its every day meaning. What is the meaning of  and where is IN when we talk about “in my Light body”?

From my perception, being IN my Light body means that I am always as an EMBODIMENT within my Light body and as a result, I act AS my Light body. What do I embody and what do I act from? When I say that I am IN my Light body, I am saying that I EMBODY my SOUL, I act from my soul. For me, being who I am, acting from my soul means BEING Love, Healing and Wisdom. It means being, giving these aspects in my daily life. In a sense, I am illuminating my connection to my Galactic Self. To do this, I do not have to be out-of-body in that it is within me. Make sense? My point is, this is not easy to grasp and that’s why you have to be careful with words in describing these things. A simple word like IN is not what it seems when describing where the soul resides.

So, again, what’s the point? The point is to appreciate that words offer only a minute apprehension of what Spirit is and the need to be attentive in realizing that words alone are inadequate in describing spiritual experiences since words are open to misinterpretation and misunderstanding. Believing you know Spirit from a word is a spiritual trap that derails you from true spiritual experience. If you try to know Spirit with words, you will miss it. Spirit is experienced. No word captures it.
