I Have Chosen To Face Myself

One of the biggest experiences I have had and continue to have in facing myself is what I like to call experiences of embodied enlightenment. This is an agreement that I made with my soul, my Spirit to fully integrate into my awareness all that I am. What ensues from this agreement is an ability to see my Light, to see with my physical eyes the fluorescent white, tinged with blue and purple Light that emanates and surrounds me, that is coming in from the other side.

When I first starting seeing this Light around my shoulders as I shut the lights off in the house before I went to bed, I would be surprised as I thought it was coming from outside the house as in a car’s headlights shining into my house. Then I saw this Light above my head before I went to sleep in my darkened bedroom, on the sides of my bedposts and eventually in the corner next to my bureau. I thought I was being visited by an angel it was so bright.

I finally perceived that this was my Light and that my awareness had grown sufficiently enough for this higher energy of my beingness to reveal itself to me in its effort, I believe, to integrate with me. The appearance of my Light has happened too many times for me to dismiss it. It is real and I have begun the integration of this Light into my mental, physical, emotional and spiritual bodies.

I have consciously chosen to have embodied enlightenment. I have chosen to face myself. More of the real me is coming in and I am becoming more of who I am. The result of this integration so far is a deep sense that ALL IS WELL.

Now, I focus on my Light with a feeling of Love. I do not fear, am not worrying nor am I anxious. I’m still human but an angelic human. I am the bringer of the new energies.

What Do I Do As An “Old Soul”?

I am an old soul. A lot of people wonder about the description, “Old Soul” and what it truly means. My discovery and perception of my own “Old Soul” is that, in human terms, all souls are “old” in that they have been around a while. Just because the soul has been around does not make it an “Old Soul” as I and many others experience. The kind of “Old Soul” I am referring to is the mature and aware soul who has learned from and allowed deeper soul awareness from the many lifetimes that soul has incarnated in.

The “Old Soul” is the Wisdom Keeper soul who sews seeds of light on the carpet of linear time, not even knowing that it will also be harvesting those exact mature plants of wisdom as it returns in a subsequent life. This “Old Soul” has made soul corrections in many lifetimes and is now a sort of master soul. There are souls who don’t expand their awareness as much in life, they don’t make their soul correction. They are progressing at their own pace as we all do. The “Old Soul” is not higher, better or greater. This is a soul who is simply of an expanded awareness from its learning from all the lessons it faced in body and is now an Ascended Master. These are souls who have a high consciousness.

I am one of these old souls and I have met these old souls whether in body or not. What you will find old souls mostly involved with is Love. What I mean is that they know how to use the Force of Love consciously. Yes, old souls are God conscious. They know they are God and they know God is a Force not a diety.

What do I do as an “Old Soul”? I Love All There is.

Regain Your Lost Esoteric Knowledge

It is time to regain your lost esoteric knowledge which will help you to the way of Love and Light. Your deeper knowing will lead to your understanding and this brings enlightenment. Begin to allow your “Ascension Skills” to come forth. The following is a list of major “Ascension Skills.”

Before you read these, if you are religious and believe these are blasphemous, then this is not for you.

1. Shape Shifting - the skill to change into another form from a crow to a wolf or anything else.

2. Transfiguration - this skill allows you to youth, that is, to become and stay young.

3. Telepathy - this is a skill of the third eye where you send a beam of pink-gold light to another person. You can actually picture that person and communicate with their thoughts.

4. Bilocation - this skill allows you to maintain consciousness of being in two places at once.

5. Teleportation - this skill allows you to send your four-body system (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) to another location on the planet.

These skills are in everyone. We have been conditioned by society to forget them. We have been made to fear them by religion.

It is time to lose your fear and regain what is yours. It is time to emerge yourself in your Ascension and resurrect your deeper powers. These are sacred skills and not some joke or fake. They are your gifts. Use them accordingly.

We All Want To Be Accepted

"If I want to be accepted as I am, then I need to be willing to accept others as they are. It is arrogant to set standards for others." Louise Hay

I have been witness, in my life, to people who could not or would not accept another as they were but wanted to be accepted exactly as they, themselves, were. To them, the other person they would not accept, was always doing something wrong but they themselves were above reproach. Instead of discussing perceived slights, this person would estrange the other he would not accept. I lived this and saw how this estrangement deeply hurt the other person. This other person was my wife and the person who would not accept her for who she was was her brother.

What I saw was my wife constantly showing love to her brother in one way or another but he was always dissing her right in front of me. He was stepping over dollars to pick up nickels, meaning, he overlooked the most important aspect of the relationship with his sister, the aspect of Love. He would rather concentrate on why she didn't invite him to a dinner instead. I found this very petty.

What he was not aware of was Louise Hay's wisdom, quoted above. I believe he wanted to be accepted for who he was without question but he would not accept his sister for who she was. With this approach of his, he was missing the single most important ingredient in being accepted by others: accepting others for who they are.

In my wife's relationship with her brother, she never questioned his lack of acceptance for her, she just accepted him the way he was. In dissing his sister, he was evincing the height of arrogance in setting unrealistic standards for his sister; standards she could never meet because it didn't matter what she did, he just wouldn't accept her as she was.

I could give you many examples of this but it would just be a list of tit for tat.

We all want to be accepted by others and the greatest secret to being accepted by others is accepting them and, oh, did I fail to mention accepting yourself for who you are?

My wife thought I didn't like her brother. I expressed to her that that wasn't true at all. What was true was that it was uncomfortable for me to be around that arrogance.

How To Overcome A Grudge

When I was 15 I had a girlfriend who I treated with the utmost respect. One day, I came to her apartment and her father answered the door. He looked at me and said, "You're not welcome here." I was in shock. Why? What had I done? I never found out why the girl and her father rejected me. Many, many years later, I was contacted by an old friend who said the girl, now woman, wanted me to contact her via email. Oddly enough, the first thing that came up was the hurt from that long ago rejection from her father. I emailed her asking her why I had been treated that way. She never responded. I realized then that I had carried that hurt, that grudge in my heart for many years and had never let it go. I was surprised that I had unknowingly carried that grudge with me for so long but I instinctively knew it was time to forgive and let go.

A few years later, I heard the comedian, Louis C. K. say, "No, I don't hold grudges.  I don't have a grudge in my life. I forgive people. I just don't believe you owe anybody in your life a relationship. It's healthy and fair to opt in or out and it's actually more fair to do that than to hold people's feet to the fire for everything they've done." This rang true for me and I recognized that it was important to let go of grudges and that was a way to forgive.

How do you overcome a grudge? You have to first be aware that you hold one. The second step is to resolve to release the grudge by forgiving the person you hold a grudge for, forgive yourself and forgive the situation that caused the grudge.

This practice of forgiveness has been the greatest single health booster in my life. It has helped me achieve inner peace, happiness, compassion, tolerance, balance and harmony. It has helped me maintain an optimistic outlook on life.

The world needs to overcome its grudges as we see the carnage resulting from the holding of ancient grudges. Grudges are poison. Why hold onto poison?

The Best Thing You Can Do To Grow As A Person

The best thing I have done to grow as a person is to do life reviews every so often. My spiritual guides kept admonishing me to do a life review and I resisted for a while. When I finally sat down and seriously did a life review, it was a quantum leap in maturing my persona, in better understanding my self, my life. I've grown and learned from my life reviews. I took inventory of my life, taking stock of where I've been, what I've learned and how these are valuable lessons, valuable assets for my today and tomorrow. It taught me to release life patterns that weren't serving my highest good.

I give you the prescription for a life review with the understanding that it's not for everybody, is a challenging tool to use but in my perception, everybody must at least have the opportunity to consider doing it. It's a powerful tool for change, inner peace, happiness, balance, forgiveness, understanding and enlightenment. If and when you're serious about doing a life review, commit to sitting with yourself for several hours and dig into it. It will be the best thing you ever did.

Life Review:

1. Review where you've been.

2. What you've learned.

3. What patterns you're ready to release.

4. What you're grateful for in your life.

I encourage you to resolve to change and heal anything in your life that's unbalanced. I have done these reviews and they are a Godsend. Be patient with yourself, be true to yourself. Examine your life and your life will show much appreciation, gratitude and thankfulness. It did for me. It will for you.

Is It My Way Or The Highway?

I perceive that many, including me, hold onto their cherished beliefs with such fixation that when these beliefs are challenged, there is a severe reaction of the personality showing in bluntness, being outspoken, stubborn, dogmatic, domineering and condescending. I have found that this severe reaction causes great resentment in others. This fixation with beliefs is, in my view, the major reason for divisiveness on the planet. What to do?

I have found that using the open mindedness of the wisdom true to my inner self is a great help in hearing out others' beliefs and staying in loving-detachment when these beliefs differ from my own. I listen, I weigh, I decide, I move forward with a new understanding of how others perceive whether I take on anything new in agreement or not.

It is not always easy to stay in the Zen space when others are so zealous in their beliefs that they want to kill you. My response to those who are obsessed is to stay out of their field of influence. I do not engage with them. They will not hear me anyway and I do not wish to argue with them.

In my domain, it is not my way or the highway. In my domain, it is, I am on my highway and you are on your highway. Enjoy your Highway and please don't encroach on my Highway.

If you are hellbent on destroying my Highway, I will not be there.

I Am One Of Those People

Yeah, I know. You think people who are ultra-sensitive hyper-empaths are weird. You believe people who are highly intuitive and psychic are strange and scary like a crazy medicine man. I have to laugh because, being one of these strange people, that is, being born weird, I discovered through delving into the nature of psychic phenomenon that being psychic is endemic to all human beings. We are all psychic. We are all empathic. We are all intuitive. We are all sensitive. The only difference between me and most people who refute and deny their psychic powers is that I accept them, practice them, live them. I am them.

I did not discover my psychic powers from a book or someone telling me. I experienced it through seeing things before they happened, seeing spirits, being sensitive to Spirit and the list goes on. Unfortunately, due to religion, who and what I am is seen as dark and evil yet I purvey no evil at all. I am not a child of Satan. I don't practice witchcraft. I am a wisdom keeper who knows Spirit intimately and as such, I bring about Love, compassion, peace, tolerance, balance, abundance and harmony.

Yes, I am one of those people, one of those people who is spiritual by nature because I connect with Spirit. There is no evil or hate in me even though religion paints people who connect with Spirit as evil or dark or blasphemous. I see Spirit in everything including myself and I don't give away my power to a diety that I go through or bow before. I don't follow a church, I am with Spirit.

Yes, I am one of those people who are changing humanity for the better with love, compassion and tolerance. I don't follow Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed, any guru, any rabbi, priest or imam. I am Spirit. That is good enough for me.

Nothing Genuine Is Used To Deceive

In my experience with being genuine and relating with genuine people, I never found myself or them using that genuineness, whether in ourselves, what we stood for, what we believed or what we did to deceive ourselves or anyone else. I believe now that nothing genuine is used to deceive. If something genuine is used to deceive, it's not genuine, I'm afraid.

What does genuine mean in the sense being used above? To be genuine is to be authentic, having the reputed qualities or character, possessing the apparent or alleged attribute. You are not fake or counterfeit. You are the real McCoy. It means that who you are is backed up by your thoughts, beliefs, actions, words and they are true and consistent. You are not a phony. You don't say one thing and do another. You are not two-faced. You are real. You do not use anything that is not authentic to move ahead in life. You are the way you are no matter what.

Most of what we see in people today is that they tend not to be genuine and they often use themselves and aspects that are not genuine to deceive others.

Many who are not genuine have tried to use a veneer of genuineness to deceive me and they failed. Why did they fail? They failed because I could feel their inauthentic selves. You cannot fake genuineness so don't try. Just be genuine if you can. If you cannot, just keep maturing if you are aware enough. Faking genuineness is like trying to hide out in the open; it's impossible.

The Eight Roads To Heaven

How do we get to Heaven which is not a place but a state of being? I discovered, with the help of Buddhist wisdom, that there are eight roads to Heaven and they are through:

1. Rightness of belief.

2. Rightness of speech.

3. Rightness of lifestyle.

4. Rightness of thought.

5. Rightness of actions.

6. Rightness of exertions.

7. Rightness of meditations.

8. Rightness of Divine connection.

The Eight roads require integrity, rightness and honesty of behavior in every day life. Watch out for dishonesty and self-deception.

In my world, getting to the state of being called Heaven through the Eight roads is being impeccable not moral.

Here-ness And There-ness

With the  human perception of Spirit, I have found that most of the humans on Earth have allowed themselves to be convinced by religion that Spirit is over there, that is, God is somewhere else in different places like Heaven, in the sky somewhere. Most humans refuse to perceive that Spirit is right here, that is, Spirit, God, is in everything including in humans and God is not human or some kind of deity in the sky!!! God is Spirit and does not think like a human...at all.

What I have discovered is that Spirit, God, is a Force of consciousness, a Beingness endowed in everything from a microbe and an ant to a human and a Galaxy. God is NOT a deity; God is a Force that resides right here, it has here-ness not there-ness. God is me, is in me right here where I am, not outside of me there, where I can point my finger over there like people do when they point their finger up to the sky and say "God is there." When I mentioned this to the religious crowd, they called me blasphemous. I see the religious as blasphemous in their refusal to see God here, with them. They have been brainwashed to give their power away, they have relinquished their self-worth, the self-worth that says they are God.

There is no need to bow down before some figure like a Jesus or a Mohamed or an Abraham or a Buddha. What was in them (Spirit/God) is in you. You are made of God. You are a piece of God.

What is the problem with here-ness for the religionists? The problem with accepting and allowing here-ness, that Spirit is in all of us and that we are a form of Spirit, is in a misguided belief system that erroneously says that there is no Spirit in anything since everything is mechanical. This mistaken view of most of humanity says that Spirit is out there somewhere, where, nobody knows. They call it heaven. So, you have to die to meet God? Not quite. I know. Spirit is here with all of us, is in everything and we are related to Spirit, intimately.

Spirit/God is here, not there. This, my friends, is a quantum leap of faith that must be experienced. When Spirit/God, knocks on your door, will you open it? Will you look into the face of a God? This door I speak of is inside you, not outside of you.

Ultra-Sensitive Empath

I experience my life as an ultra-sensitive Empath. As such, I have been willing and able to go beyond humanity's collective consciousness to new and higher consciousnesses. I have felt into humanity's religions, morals, standards, treatment, War, greed, killing, educational systems, Love, kindness, intolerance, tolerance, etc. I have done this not as a rejection of society's mores and structure as I live within and adhere to them. I have gone beyond society's structures because I have experienced them and am now onto new experiences. I have simply gone beyond.

Let me give you an example. I no longer participate in morality in that through my sensitivity, I have perceived that there is no right and wrong. For me, now, there is only being impeccable. What that means is that I no longer need the codes of society to tell me how to behave toward another. My impeccability tells me how to treat others and that is with no harm, with compassion, with Love. This is not morality. It is impeccability. There is a difference and the difference is that I don't need a dual structure to help me know the difference between right and wrong. I no longer need to experience wrong to know what right is. I live impeccably where I behave at the highest standards of no harm, compassion and Love. I am in unity consciousness not in duality or polarity. See what I mean?

To further explain; when I experience societal and natural upheaval, I do not go into fear, hate, angst, blame, revenge, anger, etc. I go into my Spiritual hierarchy reality, my ultra-sensitive empathy and see that the event, no matter how terrible, is meant to uplift the consciousness of humanity, of the Earth. It is meant to change the vibrational reality for the better even though it looks so horrible on the ground.

This is not an easy place to be in or to maintain. My sensitivity feels all the pain. My heart hurts. Yet, I have an awareness that perceives beyond societal perceptions and I am able to see the true nature and reason for so-called terrible human tragedies.

It is hard for most to fathom. I can assure you that it is not amoral, immoral, sociopathic or psychopathic. It is impeccable where I feel deeply yet live in loving-detachment that can perceive, can feel, beyond the normal pale of suffering while I can feel the suffering too.

This place that I now exist in is a place of great harmony, great balance and great calm. When I am knocked off balance; I always come back to center.

You are going there.

Why Change Is Painful

No one seems to like, to enjoy, change even though it's a Cosmic Law and change is the name of the game. Humans are change agents but they find change distasteful. Why is that?

From my experience with being a change agent and having learned to accept and make changes in my life, I have found that it's not the actual change we humans find so abhorrent. Not at all. What we, as a species, find so loathsome about change is the in-between time of our decision to change and the actual occurrence of the change itself. During the process of change, we often find ourselves in a no-man's land of not being what we were and not being that which we desire. We are in transit and it is in that time of transition to our new selves that we often find uncomfortable enough to cause us to quit and go back to our comfort zones. Why is that?

We quit when we are about to reach our goal, to be the change we want to see in the world because that's when it's the most dark. It's that time of darkness right before the dawn. We get cold feet because we believe we can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. How can we develop more confidence, more faith that we have made the right decision in changing and stick to our guns in the midst of chaos?

Self-actualization is tricky and the best way I have found to stick with the process of change in myself for the better is making small changes, a little at a time, that my persona/psyche/ego can accept and where I'm willing to deal with that in between time where I'm in transit to my change because I don't have anything to lose and much to gain. I practice with small changes at first and when I achieve these little changes in myself, I gain more confidence and faith in myself that I can do it. Once I discover, with these small changes, that it's really not that painful, I gain more will power and can take on larger changes in my life.

I cannot tell you what a small or big change is for you. I can only share my experience. Here's an example of a small change I have made: I discovered, through my bi-annual physical, that my triglycerides had increased, that is, there was more fat in my blood. I decided to make a change in my diet to lower my triglycerides. Where I had been making a lot of corn, pumpkin and banana bread and eating most of it myself on a continual basis, I completely stopped baking and eating those. I would see those boxes of bread mix at Trader Joe's and developed the will power to walk away from them. My triglycerides went down. As far as a large change in my life, I decided to take on a large project after my wife had been gone for four years where I had been inactive in my community. I got involved with a local, professional theatre company and wound up being asked to be on their execurive board of directors and helping them write grants and fundraise. This completely changed my life as I got very involved with the local theatre scene, met many new people, became more active and more enthused about my life. It was a major change. I became busier and much more involved in my community.

Change is not easy but it is a must for us humans because we are inherently change agents who find great motivation in moving out of our mundane comfort zones. It takes practice to change and it is in the practicing where we find renewed strength, confidence, faith and happiness.

The Spiritual Path

Our physical avatar, that is, our human complex, enjoys connection with our soul on purpose and is on a spiritual path during its particular incarnation. Throughout a soul's continuum, from life to life, it is on a spiritual journey as it gathers greater awareness from its spiritual paths.

Here is some advice on how to treat your spiritual path:

1. Turn all mishaps into the path.

2. Drive all blames into one.

3. Be grateful to everyone.

4. See all confusion as Spirit and practice emptiness.

5. Be good, avoid evil, appreciate your lunacy, pray for help.

6. Whatever you meet is the path.

This advice is meant only to make your spiritual path more facile and not to take its place. All must walk their spiritual path but it does not have to be with suffering, it can be with grace.

How you walk your individual spiritual paths, you singular lifetimes, determines the tenor and caliber of your spiritual journey.

Does America's Violent Gun Culture Stem From Unhappiness?

I listened to Russell Brand comment that America's gun insanity is the result of darkness and unhappiness in the culture. My question for Russell Brand is, what does this darkness and unhappiness stem from in the wealthiest country in the world where we have an insane gun culture that has led to much carnage? I have some answers as well.

My most immediate perception of why Americans are unhappy and filled with darkness and see a need to fill that unhappiness with insane gun laws and mass killings is that their focus is too materialistic leaving them feeling empty and unfulfilled. They come to ask themselves, "Is this all there is?" When they arrive at this place of  unfulfillment, they feel as if they have been lied to and cheated because isn't it all about the American dream?

There's nothing wrong with wealth, money, power, etc., but not as ends in themselves. The meaning of life is not just about more money, more power, more wealth because it does not bring happiness, it brings darkness. Why is this so? If the main concern in life is materialitic without soul, without Spirit, you are missing the essential ingredient of the human experience. If your main preoccupation is making money with no thought of your soul, you are living in darkness because it is your connection with your soul that brings you Light, Love, tolerance, happiness and compassion. Money, power, wealth, gun ownership are only the icing on the cake and not the cake itself. The cake is your soul, your Spirit and you must have those first in order to be truly happy. Connection with your soul is the only and true fulfillment of life, not guns, not money, not wealth, not power. Understand, I'm NOT saying you shouldn't have money, guns, wealth or power. Have them but NOT at the jeopardy of your soul, your Spirit.

My prescription for America's healing is: get back to your soul, your Spirit first and foremost. These will not fail you. Once you have soul and Spirit, you will not be as concerned with guns, with killing, with too much money, with so much wealth, with abuse of power.  Why? The answer is simple: you will no longer see guns, money, wealth, killing and power as the source of your happiness. Your happiness will come from your soul, not just your body.

Enjoy material wealth, America but do not lose your soul, your Spirit. Soul loss is the true darkness Russell Brand is talking about.

"There's No Such Thing"

From my experience of stepping onto my own wisdom path, it has led me to more esoteric awareness in using realities like reincarnation, Tarot, astrology, numerology, spirituality, karma, divination and so much more. Using these forces has also helped me keep an open mind to all ideas and disciplines. As I listen to other's ideas outside my own, and consider them, I notice that when I ask what they think about such metaphysical realities, i.e. mention reincarnation, most people respond with, "there's no such thing."

What I realize is that these esoteric concepts are not everybody's bag. Not everyone is open to, aware of and believes in reincarnation, things like that and they simply will not consider it. End of story. That's fine. I respect their ideas, I recognize that they are just not aware of these things yet. What's odd to me is that they are so quick to say, "there's no such thing." With that statement, they tell me there is absolutely no consideration on their part of what may be a new concept for them. Should I ask them, "What about...," and go down a list of metaphysical ideas and see which one they agree with?

What is my response? I shut up and let it be. There is no reason for me to be contrary or argumentative because I have nothing to prove. I have experienced the above esoteric realities as being true and valid for me and that's all that matters to me. I continue to be open to the naysayers and stay open to learning from them. If I behave like them and say "there's no such thing" regarding their beliefs, I close myself off from states of mind that led to to my current awareness: open mindedness and curiosity.

I always listen to people. Always. I always consider people's ideas. When people say "there's no such thing," I realize they're saying there's no such thing for them. I agree. There IS no such thing for them.

I respect their spiritual understanding, their spiritual path, their spiritual journey. I lead by example in showing them my openness to their ideas and my willingness to accept them as is.

Because Of My Mother And Wife, I Love Women

Both my mother and my wife's names began with the letter M, my mother's birthday was August 23 and my wife's was August 24 and, astrologically, they were both Virgos. The energies I was graced with from these beautiful women taught me how to love, to be Love in all moments and to feel a deep love for all women.

Both my mother and my wife loved me and accepted me for who I am, supported me, helped me, cared for me in so many, many ways while helping my dreamy nature to stay grounded. This care and love I received from them throughout my life is the basis for my love of them and women in general.

My relationships with women have not been perfect, including my relationship with my mother and wife but I have had successful and happy relationships with women all my life and still do. I learned to treat women with love, compassion, consideration, appreciation and gratitude. I never felt the need for a battle of the sexes although there were plenty of ego moments with my mother, my wife and in other relationships as well but they were not about domination, control, approval or judgement. They were about my struggle with maturity. I learned to respect women and show them complete acceptance, complete caring, complete support. I was never afraid of my mother and wife even though they had powerful personas. Their power helped me. I always encouraged and supported them and received the same from them.

They both taught me the meaning of true love. I know it sounds corny but I don't know any other way to express this. For this, I am so grateful, so happy, so appreciative and so thankful.

To me, women are awesome. Thank you.

"I Knew You Before"

I share this beautiful poem by Karen Maezen Miller, entitled, "I Knew You Before," from Lion's Roar magazine in the 'Just So' section:

I KNEW YOU BEFORE YOU WERE A VICTIM,

BEFORE YOU WERE A WRECK, A MESS, AND A BOMB.

WITHOUT A CROWNING SUCCESS OR CRIPPLING FAILURE.

BEFORE YOU HAD AN ISSUE, AN AXE, OR A CROSS.

NO DISORDER, NO SYNDROME, NO LABEL-

UNDIAGNOSED,

WITHOUT A BLEMISH OR SCAR.

BEFORE THAT NIGHT AND THE MORNING AFTER,

BEFORE THE AFTER AND BEFORE THE BEFORE.

BEFORE THE FALL, THE CRASH, THE CRIME,

WITHOUT AN UPGRADE OR MAKEOVER.

I KNEW YOU BEFORE YOU WERE WHAT YOU SAY-

WHAT YOU THINK, WHAT YOU FEAR, WHAT YOU KNOW.

DO YOU KNOW YOURSELF BEFORE?
